The 星空视频 exists to make the UK the best place in the world to research, develop and use new medicines. We represent companies of all sizes who invest in discovering the medicines of the future.
Our members supply cutting edge treatments that improve and save the lives of millions of people. We work in partnership with Government and the 星空视频 so patients can get new treatments faster and the 星空视频 can plan how much it spends on medicines.
We work with members in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The government鈥檚 new Industrial Strategy reaffirms its commitment to growing the economy. The key test for life sciences will be whether it can return the UK to international competitiveness.
We are the only full-service trade association supporting members throughout the life-cycle of a branded medicines, from early discovery to patients.
We provide a wide range of services and support for our members. 星空视频 provides its members with a comprehensive monitoring package and regular updates.
In total, we have over 150 members: our聽Full Members聽represent many established research based pharmaceutical companies, our聽Research Affiliate Members聽are involved primarily in pharmaceutical research and development, whilst our聽General Affiliate members聽are organisations that work with the pharmaceutical industry in the UK.
We work for our members in two ways

With stakeholders in the life-sciences and healthcare arena, to spread our messages to Government and other stakeholders for the benefit of patients
Working on behalf of member companies of all sizes
There is an opportunity for our member companies to be engaged with a wide range of industry activities.
Our Smaller Companies Forum is dedicated to supporting and addressing the specific issues and needs impacting this particular defined group of companies.聽
Two members of the Smaller Companies Forum also sit on the 星空视频 Board in order that this sector of industry is also reflected in wider 星空视频 considerations and approaches.
