ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ

Joe Edwards is the ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ’s Executive Director for UK Competitiveness and Devolved Nations.

His team leads the ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ’s work on industrial and investment policy, and overseas the delivery of the ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ’s strategy in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Joe initially joined the ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ in February 2020 as a Government Affairs Manager, before taking on the Competitiveness brief in July 2023, and joining the ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ’s leadership team full-time in April 2026.

Prior to joining the ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵ, Joe spent several years as a senior public affairs manager at the Royal Society – the UK’s national academy for science. Before that he worked in a number of political roles in the UK Parliament.
